About Shamanism

What is shamanism?

Shamanism is one of the world’s oldest spiritual practices, rooted in connection with nature, spirit, and community. It uses tools like ceremony, journeying, and healing rituals to restore balance, power, and meaning.

Do I have to follow a religion or believe in something specific?

No. Shamanic work is not tied to a religion. It is about direct experience — reconnecting with your own soul, the natural world, and the wisdom available to you.

Is shamanic healing safe?

Yes. Shamanic practices are about restoring wholeness and balance. Sessions are always held with respect, compassion, and clear ethical boundaries.

What kinds of issues can shamanic healing help with?

People often seek shamanic healing when they feel stuck, disconnected, or depleted. It can help with life transitions, recovering from trauma, addressing patterns of loss or exhaustion, or simply reconnecting with meaning and vitality.

About Embodied Coaching
​

What is embodied coaching?

Embodied coaching brings the body into the coaching process. Many of our patterns and responses live in the body, not just the mind. By working somatically — noticing sensations, movement, and nervous system responses — we unlock deeper and more lasting change.

How is embodied coaching different from traditional coaching?

Traditional coaching often focuses on goals and mindset. Embodied coaching includes those but adds the body’s wisdom, helping you align thought, feeling, and action so change is integrated rather than surface-level.

What can I expect in a session?

Sessions may include guided practices, reflection, or shamanic journeying. You’ll be supported to explore what arises safely, without pressure, and at your own pace.

Practicalities & Approach

Do you combine shamanic healing and coaching in the same session?

Sometimes. It depends on what serves you best. Some clients prefer structured coaching with occasional shamanic practices, others come primarily for ceremony or healing. We decide together.

How many sessions will I need?

That varies. Some people find clarity in one or two sessions, others work longer-term for deeper transformation. I don’t create dependency — we agree on what feels right for your journey.

Can this work alongside therapy, counselling, or medical treatment?

Yes. Shamanic and embodied work complement other approaches. They are not a replacement for medical or psychiatric treatment, but they can support and deepen your healing journey.

Do you work with groups as well as individuals?

Yes. I offer group workshops, ceremonies, and teaching in embodied and shamanic practices, as well as one-to-one sessions.
